Special Issue on Health informatics

Health informatics is the fusion of information science, computer science, and health care. It addresses problems associated with the healthcare industry by studying methods and techniques for acquiring, processing, and analyzing medical data. Health informatics drives the transformation of health research, healthcare, and public health, and plays an important role in collaboration among healthcare providers.

This special issue is on health informatics and aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to focus on the practice and application of health informatics and to establish new collaborations in these areas. We invite researchers and practitioners to discuss techniques and experience designing novel health informatics solutions on emerging topics including COVID-19, medical report generation, herbal informatics and the management of 3H (Hypertension, Hyperglycemia, and Hyperlipidemia) conditions, as well as improving the effectiveness of intergenerational communications. On behalf of the IJIT Editorial Board, we wish that this special issue can provide our readers with insight into how health informatics is making a positive impact on societal issues, and inspire more innovative thinking towards how we can address these challenges together.

Yours Sincerely
